July 5 – 7 GoCricket Camp

In partnership with Cranleigh Cricket Club

GoCricket Academy is led and managed by Paul Farris, Founder and MD of GoFest Active. Paul has a BSc in Sports Science and is an ECB Level 2 Coach. Currently Head Coach of Cranleigh Cricket Club Boys’ U12 to U15 squads, Paul also coaches for Surrey County Cricket Club and at Cranleigh School’s Cricket Academy run by Stuart Welch.

Jack Scriven is Co-Director of the programme. Jack is Head of Cricket at Cranleigh Cricket Club. A former Surrey Academy Player and current ECB Level 2 Coach, Jack is also a current CCC first team player

Paul and Jack believe that a strong team spirit, together with excellent technical foundations, will fulfil children’s potential as they progress through the junior pathways to senior cricket. They strive to get the best out of each child and ensure sessions are fun, and by maintaining a small coach to cricketer ratio. This ratio is never more than 1:8.

  • GoCricket Academy Aim: To provide regular, high-performance, small group, specialist coaching
  • When: Weekly: Monday and/or Thursday afternoons / evenings
  • Led By: Level 2 Coach’s, Paul Farris & Jack Scriven

It will be available to all but must be pre-booked in advance. The emphasis is on small group, high-quality coaching with lots of 1:1 feedback and the opportunity to spend a longer period of time in a net or high intensity practice environment.
