Juice Festivals Limited is the data controller for the purposes of the any data collection in relation to GoFest.

This Privacy Policy governs our data collection, processing and usage practices. It also describes your choices regarding use, access and correction of your personal information. If you do not agree with the data practices described in this Privacy Policy, you should not use the Websites or sign up to our newsletter.

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will provide notice by, at a minimum, updating this posting. You should periodically review this privacy policy carefully. Your continued use of our Website following the posting of changes to these terms will mean you accept those changes.

1. Collection of Personal Information

Except as disclosed in this Privacy Policy, we do not sell, barter, give away, or rent your Personal Information (defined in Section 1(a) below).

Legitimate interest

We require your data to pursue our legitimate interests in a way which might reasonably be expected as part of running our business and which does not materially impact your rights, freedom or interests. For example, we may use your purchase history to offer you more personalised offers or products.

Information About Children

The Websites are not intended for or targeted at children under 16 nor do we knowingly correspond in any manner with children under 16. If we discover that a child under the age of 16 has provided us with Personal Information, we will immediately delete that child’s information from the Website and cease any further communication.

We ask parents to provide names and ages of children for the purposes of booking activities for specific GoFest events. This is NOT part of the process when purchasing tickets but is part of pre-booking activities which is voluntary. If customers do not wish their child’s data to be used in this way they can book activities on the day of the event.

If you believe that we have collected information about a child under 16 that has not been submitted by their parents or guardian, please contact us at info@gofest.co.uk, so that we may delete the information.

2. How we collect your Personal Information

Certain features of the Website, for example signing up to receive our newsletter, may require that you provide certain Personal Information.

We will collect personal information from you only where we have your consent to do so, where we need the personal information to perform a contract with you, or where the processing is in our or your legitimate interests and not overridden by your data protection interests or fundamental rights and freedoms.

Information we collect from third parties

From time to time, we may receive Personal Information about you from third party sources including partners with which we offer co-branded services or engage in joint marketing activities, and publicly available sources such as social media websites.

Data Storage and email marketing campaigns

If you give your consent to sign up to our newsletter your data will be transferred to MailChimp and processed by MailChimp. Processing activity includes the collection via sign-up forms and storage of personal data within the GoFest MailChimp account in order to allow us to create and use distribution lists, send marketing email campaigns, and place online advertisements and the transfer of personal data to certain of MailChimp’s sub-processors who, as described in Mailchimp’s Data Processing Agreement, perform some critical services, such as helping MailChimp prevent abuse and providing support to their customers.

External Websites

Our Websites provide links to other websites. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the content or practices of these other websites. Our provision of such links does not constitute our endorsement of these other websites, their content, their owners, or their practices. This Privacy Policy does not apply to these other websites, which are subject to any privacy and other policies they may have.

(b) Aggregated Information. Even if you do not request a newsletter, when you interact with our Website, we may collect certain non-personal information. For example, our servers keep an activity log that tracks all visitors to the Website. The information in the activity log does not identify you individually but may include (among other data): your IP address, your registered domain or home server, time of access, date of access, web page(s) visited, number of clicks, software crash reports, type of browser used, session identification number, search terms, search results, access times and referring website’s address(es).

Except as disclosed in this Privacy Policy, we do not use or disclose information about your individual visits to our Website or your Personal Information collected online to any third parties other than those with whom we partner or with whom we are affiliated without your consent.

We use your Personal Information to communicate with you about your interest in GoFest and our company, to help us improve your experience on the Website and, in some cases, to promote GoFest. We may also use your information to prevent or detect abuses of our Terms of Use and/or Privacy Policy and/or GoFest 2015 – Terms and Conditions for Ticket Sales, and/or to enable third parties to carry out technical or other functions on our behalf. We may sell, transfer or otherwise share some or all of our assets in connection with a merger, reorganization or sale of assets, or in the event of bankruptcy. In such an event, Personal Information may be one of the assets transferred.

By giving us your Personal Information either through our Website, by email or otherwise, you expressly consent to our collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy. When you submit Personal Information to us, we may use your Personal Information to contact you, and we may provide it to certain third parties for legitimate marketing or promotional purposes, where you have permitted us to do so.

For example: If you express interest in volunteering for GoFest or if you request to receive our newsletter, we may use your Personal Information to contact you and may share your Personal Information with third parties for purposes of fulfilling your request.

Personal Information collected by our Website is stored in operating environments that are not open to the public.
